Configuring UWL work items

Partha, thanks for the quick response.
The problem is that we want the managers to see specific approval requests in the UWL but we do not want those same managers to see Appropriations Request Approvals in UWL. It is a confusing requirement, but if there is a way to "turn off" the UWL based on a specific workflow then we would be able to handle this issue.

Thanks

Jeff

Jeff,

This should only really be a problem if you are using UWL as a shared Inbox for multiple users. If this is not the case, you route workflows to whoever should be seeing them in their individual inboxes. This way they will not see workflows not belonging to them.

With regards,
Partha

Hi all. We have a dilemma regarding the rollout of the UWL to our clients and I was hoping someone could provide me with some clarification. We will be implementing a solution that will require the UWL to be functional for specific tasks, however we want to prevent some other workflow tasks from appearing in the UWL. Is it possible to turn the UWL on for some tasks while keeping other tasks from appearing in the UWL? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We are on ECC 5.0

Regards

Jeff
