thank you very much!

I looked into the SRM-System and I found the templates WS10000192 'ApprNewUser2' and WS10000199 'UpdateUser' (subworkflow) which create a new BBP user. Am I right? Or are you talking about different templates?

Hi Eva,
SRM does this.  In fact we have two templates, to create a user without
approval, and to create a user with approval.  
The templates are specific to SRM, but if you have access to an SRM
system it may give you some ideas to work with.

we would like to know if a workflow template exists in the SAP standard
(6.40) wich processes user maintenance via web. 

That means: 

Somebody requests a SAP user via a web form. A second person reviews the
request. If the request is approved, the SAP User will be installed via
the workflow.

(This is only a very short description of the required process).  If
have already looked in the where-used list of the object type USER but I
did not find any template. 

If anybody knows whether such a standard template exists or not   -
please tell me!
