SV: UWL Work Item link in outlook email

Hi all,

I'm wondering if a standard task (or some other clever way) exist that can force an agent executing a Workitem, to create an attachment of f.x. type SOFM.
I'd like it to work so that the workitem being executed cannot be completed unless an attachment is created
(in this case a written text explaining the reason for rejection)
I've looked at SELFITEM, but I'm not quite sure how to utilize it correctly.

Any hints?

Thanks in advance,

 / Thomas

Still worth asking via OSS to get an official answer on whether it is possible.

Suggest you ask it via OSS or service.sap.com <http://service.sap.com/>

Haven't tried that yet - depends on whether the UWL iview accepts a parameter that will take you straight to the work item display, and/or to the work item execution.

				Hi Jocelyn,

				Sorry for confusing the question
				I'm portals admin :)
yes i know that PCD location of the UWL Iview, but i'm looking for the work item location,
yes it is also understandable that from the UWL link, if the workitem is clicked then it actually opens a SAP GUI .so end to end we actually need to traverse to the approval screen of the work item,

may b thats 2 much of an ask

				Thanks

					Krishna,
You can definitely go directly to the UWL iview.
Get a portals guy to show you the navigation link.
Not sure about to the work item.

					Hi All,

					Another UWL question,

I'm in the process of Identifying(rather Implementing) a direct link from Users outlook mail box to the UWL workitem(in portal).

Is there any known way ? like a note or something like that.

All I'm trying is finding the appropriate link to call the workItem, if I get to know the parameter needed, then I can create a custom Iview get the parameter from the link and call the UWL screen...not tried yet :)

					any suggestions?

					Thanks,
					-Krishna
