(UWL) Work item description in user language

Hi John,
 
My problem is that the UWL is in french but not the item text and
description, they stay in english.=20
 
If I go into the SAP R/3 Workplace, it is ok.
 
Any ideas?

Hi Serge,
 
Since the UWL lives in the Portal, it uses the Portal to determine the
language.  The Portal has a setting for the master language which will
be used as the default, and if a translation is not available. A user
can change their Portal Language in Personalization.  They have to log
out and back in for it to take effect.

I am using Universal Work List (UWL) under EP6. I don't find where we
can
say to display the work item text and description in the user
language?!? I
have tried using the workflow settings in R/3 but the UWL does not look
at
this. I can not see where it could be in one of the XML files.
