Thanks, Jocelyn. I checked the classification type and this message pops up:
"No data exists for infotype 1217 in status 1"
Does this mean that there is no added classification to the task?

Susan,
Check if you have added a task classification to the task (look around the
menus in PFTC - you'll see it). Check that the person adopting the
substitution is not an excluded agent of the task. Jocelyn

Hello,
 
We are using a standard task for purchase requisition release in workflow.
When someone is gone and another does "adopt substitution" for the original
approver the work items based on task TS20000159 do not display in the
substitute's workflow inbox. We tested this by setting up substitutes using
both the personal and position but no success in getting it to work. Another
clue: When we copied a user because of a name change, their work items for
this task did not show up in their workplace inbox when they used their new
logon. Any ideas?
 
Also--where did the website for the archives go? My bookmark for it doesn't
get there anymore.
