"display only" access to the workflow log

I currently have a requirement from users whereby they want to be able to
view the workflow log for a specific item (SAP 4.5B).  However, it must be
in a 'display only' type mode where they can't get to any of the "fun"
capabilities like executing the workitem.  Is there an easy way to do this
with standard SAP security?
