What is EVENTITEM and WORKITEM in Type Linkage

Jocelyn,
i saw these in 4.5 release as we have recently upgraded to 4.7.....PR to
buyer assignment WF is not working ,i was just comparing the type linkage
in both the boxes there i found these entries in 4.5 but not in
4.7........i was wondering will these are required in 4.7 also...are these
affecting the corrct execution
please, let me know what check box GLOBAL is for also

EVENTITEM - relates to a "wait for event" step or similar
WORKITEM - relates to a task with a "terminating event" or similar
I take it you are in an older release if you are seeing these in SWE2
rather than SWE3.
ENABLED - event linkage is active
But please avoid changing any of these settings directly unless you really
know what you are doing.
Much better to use tools such as start conditions or the workflow builder
to activate/deactivate events.
Especially terminating events should not be set up directly as these are
created automatically when the
scenario first needs them.

One small question..
i have
bus2105 ....<some event> ......EVENTITEM and
bus2105.....<someevent>.....WORKITEM defined in type linkage table.
Need to know why do we give this type of linkage......
