Changing a system status of a Tradepromotion within CRM from the workflow

Hi ,
Is there a function I can use to change the system status of the Marketing
planner trade promotion
from within my workflow.  I am trying to use and existing object with a
method called systemstatusset.
But I am not having any luck.
