Check the task. If there is a tab for deadlines you (probably) have
deadline functions available. If there isn't you most likely do not.
We are not using 4.7, but in 4.6C you have to create a workflow template to
use deadline functions (defined on steps).
 
If there is deadline handling available and there is no deadline tab on the
task it must be achieved through a program which manipulates the active
work items.

Hello All,
 
We are on a 4.7 system implementing workflow for Time Sheet Approvals.
The current requirements call for deadline monitoring and escalation of
work items.
 
The (CATS) data entry profile customizing for Time Sheets restricts the
workflow task type to a standard task (TS) or
task (T).
 
Is there any built in functionality that will handle deadline
monitoring/escalation for single step tasks?
 
Ideally, I would like to expand the original selected agents list to
include deadline agents when the deadline is reached.
