Thanks for your help.

I have my program in Prod. Where I did querry against Swwwihead table.
I'm getting the correct number if user has reserved. Logically it's
working fine. Only the issue we have is end users are complaining about
performance because it takes little longer. That's why I thought if I
could use this FM instead.

The number 210 matches with the records in table SWWUSERWI but it seems
like those records doesn't match with the WI in the inbox. I just
deleted few WI from my Inbox to reduce the number, then checked the
table SWWUSERWI. In the table number doesn't change, it's still 210.

Therefore seems like I can't use this FM.

Thanks for your help again.

Look at table SWWUSERWI and see if the number of workitems there on
either your user or no user matches the 210.

        Bijay,

You can create a simple Query to get this data using tables
SWWWIHEAD and SWWORGTASK.

I did go through the archive and found lots of discussion about this
function module sap_wapi_count_workitems. We're in 4.6c version. In my
inbox there are 137 workitems but this FM tells me that I have 210
items. It doesn't make sense to me.

Then I went further one step and run another FM RH_WI_PER_USER_COUNT
which gives me same result which groups by Task#. Have somebody answer
on this what are all this numbers. I need to know the number of
workitems in somebody's inbox in my program.
