Agent Assignment in WS 10000031 (EBP 4.0)

Hi WFers,
 
Due to business requirement, I had to customize EBP workflow 10000031.
We need an own rule resolution for agent assignment.
So we want to copy the standard workflow and creating a direct subtype
from AAGENT (invoking new rule resolution in the create-method).
 
My question concerns the rule resolution.
We want to get cost center from the shopping cart (e.g. 4711).
Then conducting a search in the organization structure like this:
 
"get the position which is head of a organisation unit and has the
appropriate cost center (4711) as value in the attributes (CNT) of org
structure".
Then determine the assigned user.
 
Are there already existing function modulds or methods in order to
search persons/users by attributes in org strucure ???????
