Requisition workflow triggered MRP run

requisition and it did trigger the workflow.  You should check your MM
release configuration as Scott suggested.  Something must be wrong there.
We are on 4.6c.  One thing I have done is to use the Create Indicator from
the Purchase requisition as a characteristic to my release strategy.  This
allows me to have different strategies for MRP items (create indicator = B,
U or F) versus manually create purchase reqs (create indicator = R).

The last time I worked with requisition release, even if the requisiton is
subjected to release, if it was generated via MRP no event is raised.
 
I do not know if this is something you should report to OSS or if it has to
be like this and the possible solution is by using the report you've
mentioned.
