Workflow for NON-PO Invoicing

Hi,
 
Our company is hoping to use workflow for approval of NON-PO Invoices.  I've noticed that there are current templates and business object (BUS2081) available for PO Invoicing;  is anyone currently using workflow for NON-PO invoicing?  If so, is there a template available, and which business object did you use?  I was thinking of using BUS6003, and creating custom methods for the approval process.
