EBP - Shopping Cart Approval - Authorization Level

Hi there WF gurus,

We are in the process of upgrading to EBP 4.0 from EBP 2.5.

One of the new features is that it now allows for the approver to make
changes to the shopping cart while in the approval step, provided that
the approver has the proper authorization level to do so. Further move,
these Auth. Levels (4-high, 3=3Dmedium, 2=3Dlow, 1=3Dnone) helps =
determine if
the WF is re-started or if it continues after a change is made.

The documentation we have describes a BADI (CL_EX_BBP_WFL_SECUR_BADI)
that allows us to change/manipulate this auth level if specific
conditions are met. We want to utilize this feature, but I need to
know if (and how) a shopping has changed during the approval process. =20

Can anyone tell is there is an existing FM I can utilize to help me
determine if a shopping cart has changed (and how) during the approval
process? I'm aware of the CHANGEDOCUMENT_READ FM, but it is useful
only AFTER the data has been saved, not while it is being manipulated.

Thanks in advance for your help and insight.
