Thank you, Jocelyn !
And by setting a deadline can I make the system either send an express =
mail
or on email to Outlook to inform the user that the deadline has just =
passed
?

Hi Mihai,
Hmmm... that approach is rather "reinventing the wheel" .
You just need an ordinary work item with a deadline.
If you can't use your existing activity step for this purpose,
then just create a dummy step and set a deadline on it.

Subject: Loop, send an email to Outlook

Hi all,

The user sets a planned date and time to carry out a specific Business
Activity and saves it.

For demo purposes the system should inform the user about this activity =
when
time is due.

I created a workflow that has as Start Event the event 'Created' of this
object type.

In the workflow I have the following steps:

1. Loop (Until) - loop until the planned time is <=3D current time
2. Send Mail - sends en express mail
3. Activity - create a dialog work item so that the user navigates =
to
the respective Business Activity from Business Workplace.

My questions would be:

1. Instead of Loop what shall I use ? Definitively it is not the =
right
way to do it for production (for demo it might suffice as the time will =
be
set maximum 5 minutes later )
2. How to send an email to user's Outlook instead of an express =
mail as
he might not be in SAP ?
3. Is it possible to send along with the mail a link to the =
respective
object so that he directly navigates to it ?

Best regards,

Mihai
