Key init of a business object

Hi workflowers,
 
I have to make an organizational unit to dispatch my different tasks of my
workflow. But the dispatching must be done depending on a field. I know that
i have to create a business object to execute this dispatching. But I don't
know how the key of my business object must be init and i don't know where.
It's the key on wich the dispatching is based.
 
Someone can help me ?
