Below is a quote from IBM's release notes in Lotus Connector for SAP R/3
with MTA and Workflow Version 1.7.1. The Domino Access piece is to be
supported in SAP version 4.7.

      ** SAP R/3 Version Support **

The Lotus Connector for SAP R/3 version 1.7.1 supports
SAP 4.0 and later, including SAP 4.7 Enterprise.

The Domino MTA for R/3 product supports SAP 4.0B - 4.6D.
IT DOES NOT SUPPORT SAP 4.7 Enterprise. The Domino MTA for
R/3 component is supported with all releases still supported
by SAP up to but not including SAP 4.7 Enterprise. Users of
SAP 4.7 Enterprise should use SMTP for email connectivity
      with Lotus Domino.

The Domino Access to SAP Business Workflow product supports
SAP 4.0B and later, including SAP 4.7 Enterprise.

Hi All,

I know that SAP is not supporting the Outlook MAPI connection to SAP's
Business Workplace subsequent to Outlook 2002(?), however, I was
wondering if the same holds true for Lotus Notes + Domino connector to
SAP's Business Workplace. I have client that uses Lotus Notes as its
email client and wants to explore the possibility of using this MAPI
connection to SAP. However, I want to warn them if SAP plans not to
support this MAPI functionality in the future.

Best regards,
