Problems after changing data types and containers

Hi Roman,
Containers are version independent but the bindings aren't. Try SWU_OBUF to reset the buffers to pick up your
new workflow. If you don't want to reset buffers in future, remember that they are automatically reset at midnight system time, so schedule your transports shortly before then.

Subject: Problems after changing data types and containers

Hello,

I changed the data type of an event parameter, added a new one and changed
the workflow and tasks definition according to the new event parameters
(workflow and task container, data handling ...). After transporting the
changes from the development to a testsystem the workflowruntime seems to
ignore these changes. The parameter with the new datatype is cut to the
old length and the new parameter which should be passed to the task
container is missing.

Is there the need to reset the workflowruntime and if so how can I do
this. Is it necessary to add sth. in the transport order to avoid such
problems esp. when transporting from a testsystem to production.

thanks in advance

Roman Weise
