CRM Upgrade to 4.0 from 3.0

Hello Workflow Experts -
 
We will be upgrading our CRM to 4.0. Currently we are under 3.0 release and
have several custom workflows.
I would very appreciate some tips and hints from the people who have gone
through such an upgrade.
Are there potential pitfalls to be aware of?
