Sounds to me like you need a nightly batch report rather then a =
workflow. You could then trigger the workitem from the batch report.=20

Trigger a workflow when the business event with a Check Function =
Module. The first time the workflow is triggered, the Check function =
module checks if there is already an instance of this workflow. If there =
is it aborts. If there isnt then the workflow executes knowing that is =
the only instance. Then that instance could listen to the subsequent =
events and append the new business object to a multi-line container =
element. When a subsequent event is received, the workflow instance =
would remove the existing work item and replace it with a new work item =
with all the business objects attached.

Subject: Start a workflow only once a day

Hi workflow experts,

i want to trigger an event each time a business event is created.
So i can start a workflow with each event. When someone creates 5 =
business events i get 5 workflows.

But it would be better if i can start only one workflow a day, so that =
the information of all events are collected in one workflow.
I don't know how to solve that.

The problem is that a few people have to get a workitem when someone =
creates a new business event.
Therefore they get a lot of workitems every day.
So it would be better if they only get one workitem with the information =
of all business events.

Does anybody have an idea?

Regards,
Werner.
