Goods Receivers want PO as attachment in theirinbox--URGENTHelp Required!!

Do they only want to see the material information? You could create a
workflow that kicks off a notification when a PO is created. In this
notification, you could include the PO data they are requesting -
material number, qty, delivery date, etc.

I'm still not clear on the requirements however, and what they are going
to use this data for. Let me know if you get any more info!

One more thing, all those transactions( PO reporting ones ) in
Drill-Down
will take you to ME23 or ME22, and that's what they are trying to avoid.

What exactly are they trying to prepare themselves for? What types of
data do the want to see? Maybe I'm not understanding the exact
requirements, but I would say save yourself a lot of time and have them
run a daily report of PO's created and/or expected deliveries.

Hi Folks,

Let me bother you with some simple queries once again,I would like you
all
to know before writing this mail i patently searched WUG-Archives for
couple of
hours. It seems my patience ran out too soon.
I have s scenario at hand and i am expected to propose an optimal
solution
for that...but it seems i lack some technical details to do so.

We have a situation where when the Goods Receivers want to have
visibility
in Purchase Order creation process. They want to have a look at Purchase
Order as soon as it is created to prepare themselves in advance. But,
due
to some authorizations and roles issues they cannot be provided with the
MM03 view.
Therefore, a need arise to have a solution by which the Receivers can
have
a look at Purchase Order using some spool or printable form of Purchase
Order sending them via mail in SAP-INBOX.
Then basic idea what i conceived was, as soon as a Purchase Order is
created, somehow ( may be by using NACE Config) we can generate a
SpoolFile, which can be attached to a workitem as attachment and sent to
the Receiver.
To implement this idea i am not very well equipped with technical
details
as how i can do that, and i don't see that i have much time also to do
research.

I need help from you all in analyzing the idea and tell me it can be
done
or not this way, if it can be then how to identify the unique spool
corresponding to a PO,
and how to attach a spool to workitem( can it be done with SOFM or
SELFITEM
).

Or, if you have any better idea, please share that.

Thanks in advance.

Have Fun
