Hi Ute,

Unfortunately, 50 chars is the maximum header of any email that is send out from SAP and a restriction from the SAPconnect module, not something that you can easily change by changing one email generating program.

Restriction is caused by data definition 'SO_OBJ_DES'; which is used for all mails through SAPOffice. One of the few real restrictions in the SAP mail functionality! Also see table SOOD.

Hi everybody,

I´ve read that it´s sap standard,
that any message send via RSWUWFML2 has a subject-line containing max. 50
characters.

Is there any chance to copy this program and change the subject length to
120,
or is that futile due to to many functions that have to be changed?

Has anyone tried this attempt?
