Object not showing in ESS

Greetings,
 
We are on 46C with Portals 6.20.  Is there any way to display an object =
in ESS?  The current workflow works fine in GUI (executed step is a user =
decision).  Here, the agent has the object in the preview pane to click =
on.  However, in ESS there is no preview pane, therefore nothing to =
click on (all the agent sees is the Approve/Reject buttons, but he =
doesn't see what's he supposed to approve).  How can we show that object =
to an agent?
