Alon,

Here's an excerpt from the online documentation describing the workflow =
builder (release 6.40).

"Note it!

Here you can enter notes (for example, the ID of a frequently used =
task). The content of the tray is user-specific. If you save when you =
exit the transaction, the settings will be available to you when you =
next call the Workflow Builder."

This is not like the comments in a program (use Jocelyn's suggestion =
for that). This is for personal memory joggers that you might not want =
everyone to see while you're developing a workflow :-)=20

Alan

Guys,

Check out the Properties tab in the workflow step in 6.20 and above. =
You
can even use a nice little text area to enter long texts. Perfect for =
the
sort of annotation you are suggesting.... Here comes the sun...

..and you think quoting John Lennon will get the Walldorf folks to =
sit up
and listen? :) But where do you leave that note that you have a dodgy
function module in XYZ which gets that vital piece of data that makes
everything hang together?
I use the Workflow task's text for notes.... occasionally. Very
occasionally. Usually not for things that I need later on - that would =
be
too easy.
Cheers
Mike
