I tried comparing it with 00.00.0000 and 00000000 . Neither of which =
seemed to work. I tried your suggestion about the blank_date and it =
didnt work neither.

Hi Alon,

Try adding a container element blank_date in your workflow, and =
initialize
it with a container operation (Btw, I am not sure about this, but I =
think
that initial value for a date field is 00.00.0000, not blank).
Then you can compare your date with that blank_date element.

Cheers,
Patrick

Does anyone have a way of checking whether a date element is intial or =
not?
In my condition I want to know if the date is blank. When I do the =
condition
check the workflow errors saying I cant compare an element of type d =
with
something of type c (the blank i presume).

Anyone have any ideas?

Alon
