Wait For Event Step

Hi workflow experts,
 
in my workflow i have a step "wait for event".
When i run the workflow and reach this step i tried to trigger the given event with transaction SWUE.
But when i execute nothing happens! When i mark "trigger receiver FM synchr." a status message is shown: "Event created - no receiver found".
But i definded my event in the object type. In the "wait for event"-step i used _EVT_OBJECT in the bindings.
In transaction SWEINST there is an entry for my object type and my event.
What could be wrong?
