Hi Mat,
month ago I was thinking about a similar solution.
My idea is (but never done) to use the 'ENTRY-Distribution' of SCOT -
SAPConnect.
There you can define a SAP-Object as receiver. It must be of a special =
type
(can't reminder in the moment what it was) than the incoming mail is
converted to a SAP-Office -Document (mail.
This you cabn access and analyse to precess the content as needed.
The steps up to getting the content I have simulated and I was sure tha=
t it
runs so Ihad offerd it as opportunity for getting answers in a complx
workflow project. But at least my internal customer didn't need it so I=
havn't realized this mentioned way.
But maybe it is an idea for you.
regards
Heinz

Betreff: Reading data from email back into container
Hi,
As part of a workflow that I am currently building, I would like to sen=
d an
email to 3rd party (not a SAP user). This in itself does not present a=
ny
problems but the next stage does :
The email will be HTML formatted and will contain accept / reject
indicators
and a field into which the recipient can enter a date. The recipient wi=
ll
then send the email back and the accept/reject result along with the da=
te
entered will be read back into the workflow container.
The system is Enterprise and portals are not being used.
Does anyone have any ideas as to how I can achieve this ?
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Mat Corrin.
