Mail notification to external address....

You will need your Basis team to install SAPConnect to allow outbound
email. You can test this by simply creating a new note in SAP Office and
select an Internet address.

Hello,
I am trying to send a mail notification to an external email address in an
intra-net network.
 
Are there any special customization steps needed ?
Is there a special component I have to install on my exchange server or
anywhere else ?
 
Any other information will be appreciated !!!
