Subject line getting trucated from SAP to Lotus notes

Dear All,
 
i am facing a problem with subject line in the notification/work item mails.
Subject line in the message is appropriate in SAP inbox but when mail goes to Lotus notes, it gets truncated to some characters .
Is there any settign involved with message transfer using SAP connect.
i have scheduled RSCONN01 and RSWUWFML reports for message transfer from SAP to Lotus notes inboxes
