- evaluate the rule in a prior background step using a method based on function module RH_GET_ACTORS.
Then pass the list of agents found to your send mail step.

Thanks Jocelyn,
It resolves both the issues.
But now I need to send notification mail based on role resolution.
When i use Send mail activity for this, it doesnt give me the Role option for mail communication in Organization object.
 
I hope i am not confusing you.
How can i achieve this as when i use normal activity task, it makes it a work item and when i try to use back ground mail fr this, again the role resolution is a problem.
How should i go ahead for this.
