Use of Workflow configuration - Role no choice

Hi Kjell-Ole,
Yes - the workflow configuration you are looking at applies to the whole workflow
environment not to one specific workflow.
 
It is quite common to copy the standard workflow and then make your changes to your
copy.

In our 4.6C system, and for the SAP standard Quality notification workflows
(example WS00200085), we want to do some changes in the standard roles
00000172 and 00000174 for the tasks.
 
>From the workflow builder I call workflow configuration (Extras - Call
workflow configuration), and think it is maybe a possibility change to my
own role this way. But when I double click on the task and want to choose
agents of type role, there are only Orgunit, Job, Position, Workcenter,
user and Expression available.
 
Maybe this indicate that I have to copy the workflow template and the tasks
and then choose my own role instead of role 172/174 ?
 
Do you have some advice
