Use of Workflow configuration - Role no choice

In our 4.6C system, and for the SAP standard Quality notification workflo=
ws (example WS00200085), we want to do some changes in the standard roles=
 00000172 and 00000174 for the tasks.
 
>From the workflow builder I call workflow configuration (Extras - Call wo=
rkflow configuration), and think it is maybe a possibility change to my o=
wn role this way. But when I double click on the task and want to choose =
agents of type role, there are only Orgunit, Job, Position, Workcenter, u=
ser and Expression available.
 
Maybe this indicate that I have to copy the workflow template and the tas=
ks and then choose my own role instead of role 172/174 ?
