Viewing event container values (parameter values)

you can write a function module that would read container elements from the
event container and send them in an e-mail to you. This function module you
can then link to the event in SWETYPV as the receiver FM -- and there you
go!
 
Moreover -- I believe there was a FM like this provided in standard -- I
just cannot recall the name. Please have a closer look (I will -- but only
tomorrow, an appointment stops me from doing it now...).

Is there a way to figure out what are the parameter values of an event that
has been raised without having to look at a workflow that is linked to the
event (thus also if no workflow is started by the event).
