Number range(s) for organizational objects

Hi,
 
Can someone give me a clue how to set the number range(s) for
organizational objects (units, positions, jobs)? We have chosen to
transport these organizational objects. We assign the holders of
positions in each separate client. To be sure the numbers won't
interfere I need to set these on all clients.
