let me jump into that thread real quick.=20
You did you SMTP Gateway configuration?=20
You need to set your SMTP Gateway in your system profile and make sure =
that the server on the other side allows relaying from your account or =
IP,
with which you log on to the Exchange or Lotus Domino Server.

You can test this using a simple comand line mailer and try to connect
to you mail server via smtp. Check the response, usually the server=20
response tells you whether you are allowed to log on.

Maybe I am of the track and you already did this.
In the other case, let me know if you need details on this.

Regards,
Bodo

Hi Hendri,=20
Have you got SAPConnect set up so that the mails are sent out?
Try looking in transation SCOT to see if the mails are waiting.=20
Also have a look in transaction SOST to see the mails it is trying to
send out.=20
Don't forget you need to schedule a job for program RSCONN01 to push =
the
mails
to the mail server after RSWUWFMLEC has created them.=20
Also suggest you run RSWUWFMLEC on line with full log option so you can
see
if anything is being selected.=20

Hi Jocelyn,

I am using RSWUWFMLEC to forward work item to email. I have set the
autoforwarding attribute for everyone but the SAPMail doesn't get
forwarded.
You said that EBP workflows are set up to send any mails directly to =
the
user's email address but It doesn't happen in my EBP system. Did I miss
something to be configured?

Thanks

Hendri

Hi Hendri,=20
You really should be using RSWUWFMLEC - this is already set up to use
the
user master
address and the forwarding attribute in the org plan.=20

You really should NOT be using SO36 or RSWUWFML in EBP 3.5 or any other
EBP
release
for that matter. They are the wrong tools for the job - that's why
RSWUWFMLEC=20
was created.

Plus all the standard EBP workflows are set up to send any mails (as
opposed
to workitems) directly to the user's email address anyway.=20

If you want to set a common pattern to the email address for everyone
then=20
use transaction SO16.=20

If you want to set the autoforwarding attribute for everyone - you just
set
it
at the top of the org plan and it will be inherited by all.=20

Hi Hendri,

I'm not sure, but if I recall right, I have seen somewhere a Tx or
report to
set SMTP-Adresses for all 'if a syntax-rule is possible ... ' or so. =
But
I
cann't remember where it was. Have a look to OSS;

Wait a moment, I have found it:

Note 320443, 100232, 63480 - maybe this helps but this is it:

SAP-Doku Administration SAP-Office: Report RSSOEMAI (Alias-Namen f=FCr
Internet bekanntmachen).
I don't knw which Release or so because I have found only an old
Print-Out
of this chapter in german.

Heinz

Hi Heinz,

After setting the email address and set the communication type to
E-Mail,
the SAPMail gets forwarded. Actually, is it necessary to maintain this
communication type in SU01 or SU3?
If it is necessary then the next question : Is there any transaction
that
can maintain this field for all user in one shot or we need to maintain
this
field user by user using SU01.

Thanks

Hendri

Hi Hendri,

some Month ago I was in discussion via OSS with SAP concerning a =
similar
approach.

The recommandation of SAP is to use 'Mail-Verbund' defined in Tx SO16.

So I'm not using EBP , I'm not firm with their specialities, but I have
found Note 552168 for EBP.

Maybe it helps.

Heinz

Hi Heinz, Phil and Sharon

Thanks for your reply.
After setting setting the auto forwarding through transaction SO13 or
SO36,
the SAPMail is forwarded automatically. But, if I set the email address
in
user master data (SU01) only (not set in the auto forwading through =
SO13
or
SO36) the SAPMail doesn't get forwarded to the email. I am using EBP =
3.5
and
we prefer to set the email address in user master data (as the user is
likely to do that in the EBP screen -> web) and set attribute =
FORWARD_WI
centrally by using transaction PPOMA_BBP.
What is the way to make this happen?

Thank you very much

Regards

Hendri

Hi Hendri,

if you have installed SAPConnect (and this is the basis for RSWUWFML)
SAPMail is forwarded to if automatic forwarding is on userbased.

Heinz

Hi all,

I understand that program RSWUWFML and RSWUWFMLEC only forward work =
item
to
email.
I have a requirement to forward SAP mail notification to email.
Is there any program that can do that job?

Thanks
