Change work item status

Please note that the SWW* function modules are internal to SAP's =
workflow --
you run them at your own risk and AFAIK there's no commitment from SAP =
to
support them in the future. Normally you're safer using the SAP_WAPI_* =
ones.

I have a custom program and when it finishes running I need to change =
the
status of the work item related to it. Is there a function module I can =
use
to change the status of a work item to Complete?
