Turn off notification of unread document - RW

In SO16 on the first screen, there is a check box for 'No notification of
unviewed mails at logon'  This should be checked if you do not want the
message you are getting.

How do you do this?  When the user logs in and has unread documents, an
annoying pop up appears, how do I get rid of it?  Can any one help and it
has nothing to do with the work item priority that is set to lowest.
