Hi Amit,
just went through my notes and the OSS again.
Guess what I found the OSS note.
It is 618656
 
This note contains the following:
Solution
Reschedule the jobs.When you reschedule the jobs, all old incorrect jobs are deleted from the system.
Bear in mind that the batch jobs must be scheduled for each active client.
You can use the following transactions for rescheduling:
 
SWWB - Workflow deadline monitoring
SWWERRE_INSERT - Work item error monitoring
SWWCOND_INSERT - Work item rule monitoring
SWWCLEAR_INSERT - Clearing operations
 
 
Remark:
We are on Support Package 29.

Hi All,
We have scheduled background jobs like
 
SWWCOND - Work item rule monitoring
SWWDHEX - Work item deadline monitoring
SWWERRE - Work item error monitoring via automatic customization, but most
of our reports are in the getting cancelled thus putting the overall status
of those jobs as cancelled log overview for the cancelled job says that
 
Job started
 
Step 001 started (program RSWWCOND, variant &0000000000000, user ID
WF-BATCH)
Variant &0000000000000 does not exist
 
Job cancelled.
 
While jobs which have finished successfully gives us a message
 
Job started
 
Step 001 started (program RSWWCLEAR, variant &0000000000001, user ID
WF-BATCH)
2 jobs have been deleted
 
96 jobs have been deleted
 
495 jobs have been deleted
 
144 jobs have been deleted
 
Workflow clearing work executed
 
Job finished
 
 
Are we missing something also any ideas why these reports are getting
cancelled and for which variant it is looking for, as we have not defined
any variant while scheduling these relevant reports.
