Hi Michael,
I'm personally not expirenced using a task-group. My concerns are that =
if
you have a TS in the TG and the TS is in WS too, you may get =
inconsistencys
if TS reaches the archving-deadline but WS doesn't it at the same time.
>From the technical point of view it could be possible I think but you =
can
test it easyly by activitating the checkboxes forarchiveprogram and
deleteprogram in testmode and output to list.
regards
Heinz

Heinz,
can I also use a task group in this field. e.g. TG90000012?
What happens if I only use TS900001001(which is used in WS900000100)
for field "Task ID"?=20
And is there a difference how the archive program selects the "actual =
end=20
date"?
Task Group TG90000012 contains:
WS900000100=20
TS900001001=20
TS900001002=20
TS900001003=20
=20
Example: actual end date status:
----------------- -------------
WS900000100 31.12.9999 ready
TS900001001 24. 4.2003 complete
TS900001002 1. 6.2003 complete
TS900001003 31.12.9999 ready
txn SARA, object name: WORKITEM Task ID =3D TS900001001=20
actual end date=3D 1.5.2003

Hi Michael,
you are right, if you define the top-WF-ID of a WF-definition, all =
tasks,
sub-wf included are archvied.

Betreff: archive question
Hello,
we just start to create a document for the archive/delete procedure of
workitems.
We want :
- to archive/delete workflows with different retention periods based on
the functionality
- use the "actual end date" as the start date plus the retention period
The selection screen (via txn SARA,object name WORKITEM) contains a =
field
"Task ID".
Just a question about the relationships:
if a workflow (which has his onw ID, actual end date and status) =
contains
(many)
workitems (of different types):
What do we have to define is this field "task ID"?
Is "WSxxxxxxxxx" enough and all related workitems (who are based e.g. =
on
TSyyyyyyyyyy) will be archived automatically?
Is there a good document for the archive/delete procedure?
Thanx, Michael
