Send Message error with NAMEWITHLEADINGUS

Found what appears to work!
In SO16, Addressing, 'Organizational objects' and 'SAP Business
Objects' were
both turned off. (unchecked!)
 
I was not involved in most of the setup and config. I found this only
because I was
poking around looking up something else.
 
I looked at the rest of the Customizing and don't "see" anything else I
need to do.
Is there anything else I should check before I start beating my chest
and bragging to my boss?
 
Note to self:
Document what I did and filed under "Wild Ass Guesses!!!" folder...
 
Just in case I haven't stated this before, I love this list.
Ya'll have been an EXTREMELY helpful and patient.
Now if I can only find my flash light.

I am testing my Wf on another client.
When I get to any messages of 'WI for self method' like below:
SELFITEM - SENDTASKDESCRIPTION
AddressStrings          &ZREJECTEDBY.NAMEWITHLEADINGUS&
 
It errors out:
Work item 000000003026: Object HD0130    SELFITEM
000000003026 method SENDTASKDESCRIPTION cannot be executed
 
I go to the container, take out the 'US', restart after error, and it
sends.
I am stumped!
