Defining the possible agents for a Workflow model

Hi Robert,
Sounds like you are trying to access the agent assignment from the wrong place
and therefore getting the agent assignment of one of the steps in your workflow
rather than the agent assignment for the workflow template itself.

If you are in the workflow builder looking at the workflow flowchart then
use the "Basic Data" button (looks like a hat). From there you should find a
button and/or a menu option to set up the agent assignment for the workflow itself.

The other approach is to use transaction PFTC - display the workflow but do NOT go
to the workflow builder - you should then find a menu option to set the agent assignment
for the workflow as a whole.

Subject: Defining the possible agents for a Workflow model

Dear all,

I'am trying to define a Workflow model as a general Task. This is because I
want every user to be able to start this Workflow manually using the
"actions" functionality within transaction. As far as I know there is only
one requirement for this: The user who wants to start the Workflow manually
(from a transaction) must be defined as a possible agent for this Workflow.

When I go to: "Maintain agent assignment" (on template-level) I get the
message that my WF-Template is a bachground Task and doesn't needs agents
assignment!?

Does anyone know where and how I can make my WF-template a foreground Task,
so agent assignment becomes possible?

Thanks,
