Clearing Event instance Linkage - Workitem terminating events

A message of "No Receiver Found" normally means that there is not a recipient of your workflow event trigger or termination.  Re-check your Event linkage for your "Asynchronous" process and ensure it is still linked and Active.  Transaction SWU0 (zero) is a good start.

Hi All,
Does anyone know why terminating events, even though logged in the instance
linkage table, do not terminate the required workitems? On checking the
event log, there is an entry 'no reciever found'. Running on basis 46c.
