Missing work item variables after upgrade

Hi everyone,
 
We have just upgraded a development system from 46C to enterprise and =
have noticed that the variable parameters in the titles for user =
decision steps are not being populated. If we check the workflow logs we =
can see that the container elements used are correctly populated, it's =
just that they do not seem to be displayed in the user decision text. =
For example the text for the user decision should read :
 
'Purchase order 450002451 requires authorisation'.
 
Instead we get :
 
'Purchase order  requires authorisation'.
 
The problem did not exist before the upgrade. I have checked note 152871 =
(WF upgrade considerations), but the problem is not mentioned.
 
Does anyone know why this is happening and how we can resolve the =
problem ?
