Number of WIs under 'Grouped according to task' in SBWP

Hi All:
 
In the In-box of a Workplace, on the Workflow level there always appears a
number of workitems.  When the folder 'Grouped according to task' is opened
we can see below the list of all tasks. However no number of workitems per
task is offered on this level.  Our users would like to be able to see the
number of workitems per task there.
 
I have not been able to find any configuration feature within the SAP
Business Workplace that could satisfy such request.  - Has anyone dealt
with similar request?  Any idea would be very appreciated.
