Info on FM SWW_WI_CREATE_VIA_EVENT_IBF

I am involved with upgrading to 4.7 and am finding references in the event
linkage to the function module SWW_WI_CREATE_VIA_EVENT_IBF.  I am unable to
find any info for this on OSS or service.sap.com.  Does anyone have any
information on the FM  SWW_WI_CREATE_VIA_EVENT_IBF its purpose, use, and
operation as opposed to SWW_WI_CREATE_VIA_EVENT?    Any info is greatly
appreciated.
