I already checked into that. It is in the workflow only once.
It is only duplicated in the definition tools-event creation-Change
documents-linkage table (swecdobj)

I don't know how to actually delete the triggering event, but I know that
one of the few changes that are
possible in (for instance) a production system is to deactivate the event.
Just go to the workflow (PFTC_DIS)
and on the triggering event tab page click the green ball.
