Advance with Dialog option in E-Portal

Hello,
I have a user decision activity with 'Advance with dialog' option =
unchecked. The subsequent task ( Approve trip ) has the option 'Advance =
with dialog' option checked. This makes the approver see only the =
decision step and the subsequent step (approve trip) is executed on his =
/ her behalf. Everything works fine in SAP R/3. But in E-Portal the =
subsequent step ( Approve trip ) gets created as a workitem. The =
approver now has to go through 2 steps. This means the 'Advance with =
dialog' option doesnot behave the same way in E-Portal as SAP R/3.
Anbody has faced a similar situation before ? Any suggestion on this ?
We are on sap 46c and EP v5.
