Is choke the technical term for SM58 errors?

Did you try to schedule RSARFCEX to retry failed RFCs due to excessive system load?
Note that if the particular path is via events, you can in fact loose the event.
Hence the event queue. (I know some believe the Event queue has warts) but it is still
better than loosing the event.

Not that our problem is directly related however we are occasionally having problems with 'SENDTASKDESCRIPTION'.  Our problem occurs when workflow calls this method in rapid succession.  We are sending emails out with this method when a requisition is created.  It can happen that when a PM order is released a multitude of requisitions can be quickly created.  We've noticed that on occasion this causes 'SENDTASKDESCRIPTION' to choke.  As of yet we've been unable to find a suitable solution to this problem.

I hit this same problem this morning ! Firstly -  I think you will find the result containers are only populated in the log if the task is successful... My problem was in the bindings - I had also changed the description text and referenced different container elements so that there were redundant elements in the task container, deleting these fixed the problem (ie goto the control tab on the send mail task, drill into the task, set it to change mode, go into the container and delete any elements that are not used in the message text). I assume your QA system is still working because you haven't transported your description changes there ?

Hi everyone, I hope you can help me with this, I'm stuck spinning my wheels at the moment.  Basically I have a sendmail task that's supposed to send some information via email to an approver, asking them to approve an expense. The email is sent out of SAP to Outlook inbox.  The workflow has been working great for awhile now, and all of a sudden it has started erroring out in our Dev system, but not in test and Prod, which is a good thing.  However, I need to stabilize it in Dev.  I've checked all the bindings and compared them to Prod and they look the same.  I've ran consistency checks and they all come out OK.

The error message I'm getting is pretty generic, "Work item 000000306111:
Object SD0_200   SELFITEM 000000306111 method SENDTASKDESCRIPTION cannot be
executed".  I've compared logs between Prod and Dev, and the only difference I see, is that the container in Dev does not contain the parameters _RESULT and _WI_RESULT.  Does that just mean that the method didn't execute properly due to some bad values being passed into it?  Like I said, everything else looks identical, the only thing I've changed is the sendmail description text, but text should affect the workflow, should it?
