Yea, that's how I'm doing it. I finally put SELFITEM in the input =
parameter and it took it. It seemed to run fine for me with that. I =
don't really understand why, but at least it's working. Thanks for the =
idea.=20

Marty,

Are you executing this via the test feature of SWO1? I've always
received the same screen and have never gotten that to work, so I always
just create a task and test via SWUS.

Subject: type parameters

Does anyone know what this parameter should be? I'm in 4.6c and I've
created an instance of an object selfitem, I'm trying to run the method
sendtaskdescription but when I do, it pops up a window "Replace generic
object types" and it's asking for a concrete type parameter for the
receivers parameter. I've tried entering everything I can think of and
nothing works, not to mention the window won't even let me cancel out,
so I either have to get it right, or end my session.

Thanks in advance,
Marty

check SM58 and see whether anything is hanging there. We recently had a
similar problem. It is something to do with the number of concurrent
rfc connections your WF-batch user is being allowed, as well as some
other settings of the fairly technical basis variety. Basically, if
your problem is the same as ours, then you will see other batch
processes being compromised as well.

Hope this helps!
