Testing authentication rules

I am looking to test a webflow authentication rule in a 4.7 Enterprise =
box.  However, it doesn't appear that the "Simulate Rule" option is =
allowed for authentication rules.  Does anyone have any idea on how I =
can test an authentication rule so that I can actually get inside the =
code?  I stuck a break-point in my method but I'm not hitting it through =
traditional workflow testing.
 
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
